I began modelling in 2008 as an alternative plus size model with the name Poppy Scarlet, and have since been lucky enough to work with some amazing photographers, make up artists and clothing companies from all over the United Kingdom. I have walked catwalks, been featured in an internationally-established alternative culture magazine and have been pictured on an American news website. Although I preferred pin up 'cheesecake' modelling inspired by the 1940s and 1950s eras, I also became experienced in fetish-themed, burlesque inspired and art nude photography. I decided to stop taking part in shoots late 2012 due to my other commitments, but it was one hell of a ride!

One of my greatest modelling accomplishments was taking part in London Alternative Fashion Week 2009, wearing a bespoke latex outfit designed by the incredible people at Pretty Pervy ( NSFW

I am featured in a YouTube video with the 5 other fabulous curvy girls here

Three features in Bizarre Magazine (issues 150, 151 and 162) and on American news website covering LAFW 2009

In September 2010, I acted as an 'extra' for the filming of the upcoming British crime and thriller movie entitled Hard Boiled Sweets with Hollywood Studio Universal - I can be spotted sitting at a table with my mother in 50's inspired Bobby Jo's Diner film is due to be released early 2012.

I was also part of a 1940s inspired hoarding project at the side of The Coronet cinema in Eltham, South London with Retro Photostudio ( and Milkcow Magazine ( in 2009 - this is still on display!

In December 2009, I took part in a short film documentary called 'Neo-Genesis' as part of the Winchester U-Doc Festival in May 2010 regarding the fetish subculture. Robin Christopher ( then developed this into a brilliant three part docu-series called 'Vanilla' ( which was launched in March 2011.
